The Life of Paul

I believe there is a need in the Christian world today for strong Christian leadership.  And there is a need in our church for strong Christian leadership.  Paul was entrusted with responsibility for the churches he helped found.  One of those was the church at Ephesus.

Ephesus was a town that Paul had invested a significant amount of time and energy in.  But he is so intent on getting a collection of relief money to the church in Jerusalem, that he doesn’t even have time to go inland to see them one last time.

Instead he calls for the church’s Elders to meet him in the port city of Miletus.

These were the men to which Paul was handing over the baton of leadership.

His words to them speak to church leadership through the ages.  Time for God’s sheepdogs to clock in.

Thank you Pastor Wayne for this message. We need to pray and ask our Father where He wants us in leadership roles. It is vital - critical. The message moved me in asking myself if I'm where God wants me in that role. It's true, we're all busy with our lives. But Satan does clock in everyday. We need to put God's Kingdom first in our lives above all else. We're in spiritual warfare 24/7. Satan never takes a day off.
Grateful God sends His Word through wonderful leaders like you. 🙏😇
